This position requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in administration, finance, logistics, information technology, communication or a related field. This position also requires a minimum of 10 years of management experience of which 5 at a senior level managing multi-disciplinary teams including human resources, procurement, finance and logistics professionals. Demonstrated outstanding verbal and written communication skills, along with proven problem solving skills including innovation, flexibility and creativity is required. Leadership skills including the ability to build productive teams and motivate individuals at all levels of an organization in the pursuit of common objectives are required. A proven track record of personal effectiveness in complex environments, and demonstrated ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders is required.
Directors of Mission Support acts as the principal advisor to the Head of Mission on all matters pertaining to administrative and technical support activities and, as such, is responsible and accountable to the Head of Mission for the effective general management of the human, financial and physical resources allocated to the mission.
