The Web of Information for Development - WIDE - is an online Web-enabled system that supports the Special Unit for South-South Cooperation (SU/SSC) in its mission to identify, promote and facilitate the transfer of information on expertise from countries of the South for development initiatives.
WIDE is a platform aimed at allowing Organizations and Institutions to build their own rosters and share information with other WIDE based rosters. A number of different rosters have been set up holding information on a variety of selected professionals who have substantial knowledge in various areas of expertise, and who are willing to be considered for long and short term assignments around the world.
Please refer to the table below for the list of rosters currently available in the UNDP as well as the UN. Each roster defines its own public search policy. If the roster you are interested in allows for public search, simply click on the search link. Otherwise, please contact the respective roster manager for further information.
